Steam Prawns With Minced Garlic

 

Putonghua : suan ni zheng xia


 
Ingredients
Medium Prawns  300 g (15pcs)           Chopped Garlic  5 tbsp             Grated Ginger  1 tbsp
Spring Onion  1 stalk (chopped)

Sauce
Light Soy Sauce  3 tbsp             Pepper Powder  a little          Salt  1 tbsp          Oil  4 tbsp

Steps
1) Clean and wipe dry the prawns, cut into 2 halves (from head to tail)
2) Put the prawn on the large dish in order, cut-side up, sprinkle salt on
3) Dust chopped garlic, grated ginger on the surface of prawns
4) Using a big caldron (Chinese) or steam pot, with hot boiled water
5) Steam the prawns for 7-10 minutes, add pepper powder and light soy sauce on
6) Using another pan, heat the oil then pour over all the prawns
7) Dust the chopped spring onion over the prawns, serve


Remark
tbsp - table spoon
If you like garlic, you can put more garlic on prawns
If you like spicy, add on some minced red pepper

Option : soak to soft 1 pack approx. 150g greenbean noodle by water, place them on the place, under the prawns - all prawn sauce are soaked by noodle after steaming, it's very delicious staple.
