Custard Egg Tart In Hong Kong Style

Ingredients
of Pastry

Sifted Flour  400 g             Sifted Custard Powder  100 g             Sugar  2 tbsp
Melted Soft Butter  400 g

Ingredients of Stuffing
Sugar  3 tbsp           Egg 4 pcs           Water  400 g              Evaporated Milk 50 ml

Tool
Metal Tart moulds 10 pcs (circle or square, or any shapes)

Steps
1) Mix sugar and butter well, add flour and custard powder
2) Knead all ingredients to form a dough, cut into dices
3) Press and flatten the dices into the tart moulds
4) Mix water and 2 tbsp of sugar well, add whisked eggs and milk
5) Filtrate with a sieve once, pout into tart mould with pastry
6) Bake with medium heat in an oven for 15 minutes, serve

Instant Swallow's Nest Fragments is optioned, depends on your need.....
                    ~ add in fragments on step 4 after filtration, mix slowly with stuffing....

Special option : spray some honey on surface of baked tart, then bake for 2 minutes more.....

By the way, you can add some fruit jam, or canned fruits dices on the baked tart.....


Remark
tbsp - table spoon
This snack is better served in hot.
Tart size according to the moulds you have.
